Description GRABBER A/T X
The Grabber A/TX is an all-terrain General On-/Off-Road tire designed to support pick-up trucks, work vehicles, and full-size SUVs that require reliable traction, whether on the pavements, in gravel, wet weather, or even light snow. In addition to the light snow traction, which follows the strict snow services standards of the tire industry. 3-peak mountain-snowflake (3PMSF) symbol, the Grabber A/TX is engineered to combine strong reliability and road civility.
The Grabber A/all-terrain TX’s tread pattern is molded with a rugged, cuts, and chip-resistant compound. General’s Comfort Balance Technology uses a tread and acoustic tread absorption coating to improve ride and tritones. Thanks to its large footprints and its balanced pattern rigidity. The demand for even wear is uniformly distributed over a period of time. Sidewall Protection Lugs are designed to prevent drilling. Helping throw rocks and debris between alternating shoulder blocks, and they are designed to discourage sidewall punctures.
Profound starting tread depths and multi-angle belt tread blocks support stability on the loose ground. Generally while tensioning and siping create more biting edges for dirt, water, and snow grip. Tires Grabber A/TX was built to accommodate optional tugs for ice and packed snow traction.
The internal construction of the Grabber A/TX utilizes General’s DuraGen Technology. Ultra-high-strength steel belts, a robust, two-ply polyester casing. Balancing toughness and ride comfort, and two polyamide reinforcement ply that aid durability.
While non-winter tires featuring the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) symbol may provide additional snow traction. Not bearing the symbol can deliver, they do not match the capability of a true winter tire.
The General Grabber A/TX was developed for confident traction in a variety of conditions. If pavement and dirt are your things, yet on-road civility seals the deal. Watch to see what General’s built into its On-/Off-Road All-Terrain tire. Earning the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol.
Dropping the air pressure in the Grabber A/Tx tires allowed the sidewalls to act as another set of springs between us and the bumps. We found 20 psi to be a friendly backcountry touring number. In the rocks, we (carefully) got closer to 15 pounds of pressure with no trouble.
